  • Patent number: 9799310
Abstract: A guitar string anchor includes a housing, a tension slide, and a tension slide adjuster operatively connected to the tension slide. The guitar string anchor is secured to a guitar bridge. The tension slide receives a ball end of a guitar string. The tension slide adjuster adjusts a position of the tension slide, which causes a change in the guitar string tension.

  • Patent number: 9791308
Abstract: A brine tank salt level detection apparatus is disclosed. The apparatus includes a housing secured to a lid of a brine tank, where the housing supports an infrared emitter and an infrared sensor. The apparatus is configured to emit an infrared signal, receive an infrared signal, and determine whether a salt level in the brine tank is below a predetermined level using, at least in part, the receipt of the infrared signal. A method for determining a salt level in a brine tank is also disclosed. The method can include emitting an outgoing infrared signal, receiving an incoming infrared signal, determining whether the salt level is below a predetermined level based at least in part on the receipt of the incoming infrared signal, and when the salt level is below a predetermined level, alerting a user of the low salt level in the brine tank.

  • Patent number: 9190032
Abstract: An apparatus for securing one end of a guitar string to a guitar is disclosed. The apparatus includes a mount adapted to be secured to and extend upwardly from the bridge of the guitar, and where the mount defines a pivot axis above the bridge of the guitar. The apparatus also can include a string holder pivotally connected to the mount at the pivot axis, the string holder comprising an anchor to securely hold the end of the guitar string, the string holder having a first end and a second end, the first end positioning the guitar string below the saddle height of the bridge. Additionally, the apparatus can include a position adjuster operatively connected to the mount and the string holder, where the position adjuster can be used for adjusting the pivot angle of the string holder to adjust tension on the guitar string.

  • Patent number: 8381535
Abstract: A control module for a refrigerator/freezer wherein the control module drives a rotatable ice ejector for removing ice bodies from a mold of an automatic ice maker in the freezer section of the refrigerator/freezer. The control module has a motor which drives a cam gear which drives the ice ejector. The cam gear comprises a circular gear with a first face and a second face. Once or more cam projections on at least one of the first and second faces are positioned to selectively interact with one or more switches fixedly supported within the control module housing to activate at least one feature of the control module or automatic ice maker rotation of the cam gear.
