Abstract: A drive unit for a laboratory centrifuge, comprising a motor via which a centrifuge rotor that is attached to an inner shaft can be rotated. The motor drives a hollow shaft inside which the inner shaft that is attached in the centrifuge rotor is accommodated at least in part and is mounted to as to be able to oscillate. A spring stabilizer is disposed in the hollow shaft and around the inner shaft, whereby the drive unit is provided with a compact design while vibrations and noise are effectively reduced.
Abstract: This present invention relates to a fan wheel for an electric motor which fan wheel comprises fan vanes and a cylindrically arranged hub wherein said hub consists of a rigid fixing section for attachment to a drive shaft of the electric motor on the one hand and of a flexible section axially extending from said fixing section on the other hand and wherein the fan vanes are allocated to the flexible section.
Abstract: A synchronous motor includes a starter device in the drive connection between the motor and a load, and a driven rotor. In the drive train between rotor and the load there is a shaft element inside which there is a cylindrical chamber in which a coaxial shaft is rotatable mounted, and on which a threaded portion is disposed in a torque-proof but axially displaceable manner. A nut (38) meshes with the threaded portion, the nut being arranged in the chamber in a torque-proof but axially displaceable manner.

Abstract: A lateral semiconductor element (10) in thin-film SOI technology comprises an insulator layer (14) which rests on a substrate (12) and is buried under a thin silicon film (16), on top of which the source, or anode, contact (18) and the drain, or cathode, contact (22b) are mounted. The anode contact (18) and the cathode contact (22) each lie over separate shield regions (28,30) within substrate (12), with the anode contact (18) being electrically connected with substrate (12).

Abstract: A thermal switch arrangement for electromagnetic coils of electric motors, including at least one coil, which has a winding (52, 54) and a coil former (30, 48) in the form of a winding core (32), which is enclosed by two end flanges (36, 38; 56, 58, 60, 62), and flat plugs (26, 28; 74, 76, 78), which are connected with the two ends of the winding and/or the connections of a thermal switch (80), assigned to the winding, and are inserted and locked in pockets (40, 42; 64, 66) in or at at least one end flange (36, 38; 56, 58, 60, 62) from the peripheral edge of the latter and locked. Two tags (82, 84) of the thermal switch (80) enter the pockets (40, 42; 64, 66) of the flat plug (74, 78) from the inner surface of the one end flange (36, 60).

Abstract: A pump for washing-machines, tumble-driers, dishwashers and the like includes an inlet into which an inlet pipe enters, an outlet which is connected to an outlet pipe, with the inlet pipe being disposed and shaped in such a way that a least one low point is formed in the inlet pipe, at which an entire cross-section of the inlet pipe is lower than the inlet of the pump.
Abstract: A multistep reduction-gear attachment for multipurpose electric motors. Its casing-like gear box, whcih can be attached to a collar that surrounds the shaft of the motor and is intended for securing accessories, accommodates two axially parallel belt wheels or toothed wheels. One wheel is screwed onto the motor shaft, which engages inside the the gear box when the motor is in operation. The other wheel is screwed onto a drill spindle that is inserted into the gear box from the opposite side. To reduce manufacturing costs and simplify mounting accessories, the gear box (2) consist of two angled components (3), each flank (5) of which has at the end a chuck (6) for the collar (8) of the electric motor (1) or for the drill spindle (9) and which are secured together with means (4 & 13) of attachment that can be loosened in such a way that the components can move toward each other along said flank and the angled components, the belt wheels, and the wall plates (14) are similar to each other in shape.
Abstract: An electric motor with automatically acting brake, which possesses a brake element including an armature plate and displaceable on the rotor shaft against a helical spring, and released by the magnetic field of the rotor. The brake element axially guides a disc possessing guide grooves situated between it and the armature plate. The inclined planes of the disc are facing towards the rotor and extending around the rotor shaft in the form of annular segments are disposed axially symmetrically on this disc, which are pressed by a prestressed spring bearing against the brake element onto a starting pin inserted into the rotor shaft.
