    Abstract: A liquid crystal display device comprises a liquid crystal panel, a flexible printed circuit (FPC) film connecting to the liquid crystal panel, and a plurality of driver IC chips formed on the liquid crystal panel directly. The present invention is characterized in that a power circuit, a gamma compensating circuit and a ground circuit are formed on the FPC film and are electrically connected to each of the driver IC chips respectively and that the driver IC chips are formed on the glass substrate of the liquid crystal panel directly to save the space of the PCB and lower the cost.

    Abstract: An automated soldering system includes a robotic soldering machine and a plurality of feed lines for delivering workpieces to be soldered by the soldering machine. Each of the feed lines transports workpieces such as LCD modules from an input end to a soldering area, and from the soldering area to an outlet end. The soldering areas are arranged within the range of motion of a soldering arm of the soldering machine are preferably arranged in a bilateral triangle having the pivot axis of the soldering are at its apex. The soldering arm is programmed to work reciprocally among the soldering areas, thus increasing the yield of the robotic soldering machine so that the soldering machine is more cost effective. The soldering machine may be programmed to perform different soldering operations at different soldering areas.

    Abstract: A positioning structure of a back light module comprises an optical film and a frame, wherein at least one flange is respectively disposed at two corresponding edges of the optical film and the flange has a neck portion. The frame is used to position the optical film and includes a base, a constraining block and a bridge, wherein the base is used to contain the flange of the optical film, and the constraining block protrudes from the surface of the base and corresponds to the neck portion of the flange so as to restrict displacement of the flange parallel to the surface of the base, and the bridge is mounted on the top of the base to constrain the displacement of the flange perpendicular to the direction of the surface of the base. In addition, appropriate gaps are retained both between the constraining block and the neck portion of the flange, and between the bridge and the flange such that the optical film can freely extend when it is heated to deform.

    Abstract: A method of laser-assisted pressing is used to adjust the pressing position with a laser projector and an impressible element while pressing an opaque object. The apparatus in this invention is characterized by a platform, a pressing unit with at least one press head, and at least one laser projector for projecting a laser beam to form a light area. The press head presses the impressible element to form a pressure mark indicating the pressing position. The light area is then adjusted to match the pressure mark. Finally, the relative positioning of the platform and the pressing unit is adjusted to match the light area with the area to be pressed. Thus the pressing position will be accurate in the pressing process.
