Abstract: A method is for WLAN localization and corresponding location based service supply. By providing a WLAN data set as an actual WLAN fingerprint of a geographical unit for the usage in a mobile device the user is enabled to localize himself self-sustained. Thereby the mobile device receives WLAN signals from at least three WLAN senders for the localization. Due to self-sustained identifying of the WLAN senders by the mobile device on basis of the received WLAN signals the mobile device may calculate the actual geographical position of the mobile device. The calculation is done on basis of the WLAN data set and on basis of the received WLAN signals from the at least three different WLAN senders. Furthermore a location based service is supplied by the mobile device the a user of the mobile device on basis of the calculated actual position.

Abstract: The method for lining a pipe laid in the ground, especially a sewer conduit made from concrete, asbestos cement or stoneware, comprises making a lining tube for the pipe with an outer layer and an inner layer made from fiber fleece and a barrier layer impermeable to fluid located between the inner layer and the outer layer. The outer layer is soaked with a stress-free hardenable plastic resin adhering well to the pipe in one or more regions of over its entire length and the inner layer is soaked with the same or another plastic resin having reduced shrinkage not impairing the outer layer. The lining tube is introduced into the pipe and pressed on the inner surfaces of the pipe to be sanitized. The plastic resin is hardened to form an adhesive bond between the pipe and the outer layer. Advantageously the outer layer is soaked with epoxy resin and the inner layer is soaked with polyester resin. The product of this method, a sanitized conduit, is also described.

Abstract: In a method of cleaning filter elements a removal of filter cakes formed on the filter cloth of the filter elements is accomplished by the application pressure and vacuum in the alternating fashion to the filter elements after the filtration process has been completed. The cleaning effect is improved due to the pressure fluctuations because the filter cloth expands upon those fluctuations and filter cake formed thereon is peeled off that filter cloth.

Abstract: A filtering apparatus comprises a housing defining a generally closed chamber in which is provided a hollow rotatable shaft that carries a plurality of filter elements. Each of these elements is formed as an upwardly dished fluid-impervious metal plate formed with a central hole through which the hollow shaft passes and having a concave upper face formed with an array of spaced-apart bosses. A fluid-pervious filter cloth lies on the plate directly against the bosses so as to be spaced from the plate between the bosses. A ring secured to the smooth edge of each plate secures the respective filter cloth in place.

Gas bubbles are allowed to escape from the sample and thereafter the opacity or turbidity of the sample is measured by passing a light beam through it.
