Abstract: A shower device is attached to a wall and is not connected in a fixed manner to the interior shower or to an additional hand shower. A hose that extends from a plumbing fixture to a hand shower is used for supplying the shower device or hand shower. The hand shower has an outlet for water discharged from the hose. The outlet can be joined to an inlet into the shower device such that the water reaches the shower device via the hand shower. The shower device can be configured as a wall-mounted rod. Preferably, the connection that redirects the water is established by a mechanical coupling device.
Abstract: The invention relates to a method for coating plumbing articles such as plumbing fixtures, which have stainless steel surface or surfaces with a so-called stainless steel appearance. According to the invention, at least one siloxane is applied to at least a portion of the surfaces and, to be precise, essentially only in the recesses, channels, grooves and the like, which are provided in the surfaces, while being coated or filled with the siloxane. The coated surfaces are preferably ones that have been subjected to a prior surface treatment, particularly ones that have been brushed.
Abstract: A shower arrangement designated to be affixed to a showering area comprises an arced hollow section inside of which is a water line to a head nozzle at the top area of the arc. The arced hollow section has two preferably parallel legs that are both affixed to a wall. The arrangement can be affixed between two abutting walls, between two parallel walls, or also in front of a single wall.
