Patents Assigned to Harada Industry of America, Inc.
  • Patent number: 11699856
Abstract: A vehicular half loop antenna is provided that includes a ground section and a feed section. The ground section has a ground point that is configured to be electrically grounded. The feed section is configured to be electrically connected to the ground section. The feed section includes a first feed portion having a feed point that is configured to be electrically connected to an antenna feed, and a second feed portion connected to the first feed portion via a corner portion therebetween, with the corner portion being located farther from the ground point than the feed point and having a curved or tapered outer edge.

  • Patent number: 9203163
Abstract: An antenna assembly for a vehicle including an environmentally sealed housing and a printed circuit board. The printed circuit board is at least partially disposed within the environmentally sealed housing and extends through a plurality of second order Hilbert Curves which are arranged in side-by-side relationship with one another. The antenna assembly is preferably disposed within a non-metallic structure of the vehicle, and therefore, the antenna assembly is hidden from view, thereby allowing the vehicle to have a more aesthetically pleasing external appearance. Additionally, the length of the trace is limited by the space inside of the non-metallic structure, and therefore, depending on the size of the non-metallic structure, a very long trace having a high performance could be printed on the printed circuit board.

  • Publication number: 20110254740
Abstract: A microstrip antenna that can be linear, co-circular, or dual-circularly polarized having co-planar radiating elements and operating at dual frequency bands wherein an inner radiating element is surrounded by and spaced from an outer radiating element. Each radiating element resonates at a different frequency. In one embodiment of the invention a feed network has a single, cross-shaped, feed line that is positioned between the inner and outer radiating elements and capacitively coupled to the inner and outer radiating elements. In another embodiment of the present invention, the radiating elements are fed separately by first and second feed networks each having a plurality of feed points. The radiating elements each have one active feed point that is either directly or indirectly coupled to its respective feed network.

  • Patent number: 7679572
Abstract: A mounting for a vehicle antenna including a mounting base which has an insertion portion for insertion through a hold in a vehicle body panel and a flange for engagement with an inner surface of the vehicle panel. The mounting further includes a temporary retainer at least two resilient temporary retention arms extending upward from engaging with the outer surface of the vehicle body panel after being inserted through the hole in the vehicle body panel. A retainer is then provided in the insertion portion to permanently mount the mounting to the vehicle body panel.
