    Abstract: An automobile antenna including a defogging heater wire and a conductor combined into a simple structure to accomplish a good FM reception. A capacitor which effects high-frequency grounding of the terminals of the defogging heater wire is installed between the heater wire terminals and a vehicle body, and the heater wire which resonates in the FM frequency band but not in the AM frequency band is inductively coupled to the conductor which is installed on the surface of the window glass and resonates in the FM frequency band but not in the AM frequency band. The heater wire and the conductor are installed in such a positional relationship that a double resonance is created.

The compensating circuit includes an FM compensating circuit made up with passive elements and compensating FM broadcast signals and an AM compensating circuit equipped with active elements which convert a high impedance into a low impedance so that the AM compensating circuit compensates AM broadcast signals. The attachment part of the antenna, to which the compensating circuit is directly connected, has a stray capacitance of 10 PF or less.

    Abstract: A device for adjusting and controlling the optical axis of a headlamp including an optical axis initial setting mechanism which includes a manual operation section consisting of two operation bolts and a position adjustment member. The bolts provided with operation gears at one end are mounted to the casing of the device in a symmetrical positions on the left and right sides with the head portions of the operation bolts exposed to outside of the casing of the device. The position adjusting member has a gear portion at one end that engages with respective operation gears of the operation bolts and also has an engagement portion at the other end that engages with the aiming shaft so that the engagement portion, which is used for adjustment and control of the optical axis of the headlamp, can slide in the axial direction but cannot rotate in the circumferential direction of the aiming shaft.

    Abstract: In a micro-strip antenna comprising a radiating conductor and a grounding conductor which are installed on either side of a dielectric, a plate-form conductor is attached to the radiating conductor at a position which is roughly at point where an extension line extended from a line, that connects the center of gravity of the radiating conductor and a feeding point, intersects an edge of the radiating conductor. The plate-form conductor is attached also at a position which is rotated 90 degrees about the center of gravity from the above-described position. In addition, a portion of the plate-form conductor is set to project from the edge of the radiating conductor. In this way, the center frequency of the micro-strip antenna can easily be corrected during the manufacturing process of the micro-strip antenna.

    Abstract: An apparatus that controls the light irradiation angle of a headlamp of vehicles including a feed screw rotatable by a motor, a movable piece that makes a reciprocating motion by the feed screw, an output shaft attached to the movable piece at one end and linked to a headlamp at another end so that the illumination angle of the headlamp is controlled by the advancing and withdrawing motion of the output shaft. The apparatus further includes an irradiation angle initial setting mechanism that is connected to the movable piece so that the irradiation angle can be set manually by adjusting the position of linkage of the headlamp and the output shaft via the movable piece. With this structure, any initial setting of the headlamp angle can be accomplished regardless of the type of vehicles via a compact and simple structure.

    Abstract: An actuator control device used for, for instance, dampers of automobile air conditioners including first and second fixed contacts which are discontinuous on a path along which a movable contact travels and third and fourth fixed contacts which are also in a discontinuous fashion on the movable contact's path. A motor, that is, an actuator, is connected to a battery and rotated forward when the movable contact is in contact with the first contact and is rotated reversely when the movable contact is in contact with the third contact, thus opening and closing the damper. A first diode is connected to the second contact so that when the damper, which is rotated in a linkage with the movable contact, is opened and the movable contact comes into contact with the second contact, the first diode cuts off the current to the motor, thus completing the damper opening action.

The heater wire and conductor are installed in such a positional relationship that a double resonance is created.
