Abstract: A pressure release slide latch mechanism for a drawer slide assembly comprises an outer slide, an intermediate slide mounted in the outer slide, and an inner slide mounted in the intermediate slide, a channel plate having a track portion and a guide block attached to the outer slide and a carriage slidingly engaged and biased along the track portion. A pin of a follower pivotally attached to the inner slide engages the guide block to releasably maintain the drawer slide assembly in a closed position and releases upon an inward force applied to the drawer slide assembly.
Abstract: Disclosed is a soft-close device for a compact hinge comprising a housing removably fitted to the compact hinge and a plunger slidingly engaged with the housing. The housing includes a cavity sized and shaped to receive the plunger. The plunger includes a collar that when the plunger is rotated will engage a slot in the housing to deactivate the soft close functionality of the device. In an alternate embodiment, a tab slides around the exterior of the collar to engage the slot. In another alternate embodiment, the plunger includes a detent that engages a catch formed in the housing. The catch extends from a flexible arm of the housing that can be elastically deformed to deactivate and reactivate the soft-close functionality.
Abstract: Disclosed is a low profile, adjustable, soft close hinge comprised of a hinge cup pivotally connected to a hinge body via a hinge arm and a hinge link in a four-bar linkage arrangement. A spring biases the hinge to a closed position. The hinge body is adjustably connected to an inner frame with an overlay adjustment screw and depth adjustment cam. The inner frame releasably connects the hinge body to a mounting plate. A stop bracket is adjustably and slidably connected to the hinge body by a helical cam. The adjustable position of the stop bracket relative to the hinge body determines the point at which the damping functionality of a damper begins during a hinge closing movement. A linkage sub-assembly pivotally connects the damper to the hinge link.
Abstract: A slidable kitchen organizer apparatus comprised of a combination of āVā shaped wire baskets and āLā shaped wire baskets. Each basket includes an extruded aluminum slatwall and is individually mounted on sliding assemblies within separate portions of a cabinet carcass. Each slide assembly is capable of independently sliding from a stored position within the cabinet to a deployed position outside of the cabinet. Removable, adjustable, and interchangeable hooks and shelves can be attached to the slatwalls.
Abstract: A self-securing roll holder for easily exchanging rolls of sheet material. The holder comprises a mounting bracket, a mounting stanchion, a support, and a cap. The cap is pivotally connected to the support with a resilient retaining assembly. The cap has dimensions that allow the cap to act as a retainer in one position and, when moved to a second position, allow rolls of sheet material to be mounted and dismounted from the support. The retaining assembly further comprises a piston, a piston guide, a spring, and a pivot pin all of which are located inside the support. The cap is pivotally connected to the retaining assembly thereby maintaining forcible contact with the support and retaining rolls of sheet material on the support in one position until moved to a second position to exchange rolls.
Abstract: Disclosed is a pantry pullout apparatus having side access and designed for simple, adjustable, and accurate installation within a pre-existing cabinet space. The apparatus, slidably mounted within the cabinet space, comprises a top slide assembly mounted to a cabinet carcass and a drawer box. The drawer box is automatically centered on a base slide box. The base slide box is comprised of a slotted template slidingly engaged with a frame, where the frame is mounted to the cabinet carcass. Slide rail assemblies connect the slotted template to the frame. A pin block on the underside of a fixed shelf of the drawer box automatically centers the drawer box on the slotted template. A face plate adjustment mechanism provides for three dimensional alignment of the face plate with surrounding cabinets.
Abstract: Disclosed is a long arm quick release hinge comprised of a hinge cup pivotally connected to a hinge body with a hinge pin via a hinge arm and a link in a four-bar linkage arrangement. The link is a collection of plates with interlocking projections and indentions arranged adjacent to each other and separated by resilient shock absorbing spacers. The hinge body is adjustably connected to a connecting plate with an overlay screw and an adjustment screw.
Abstract: A full extension ball bearing drawer slide assembly comprised of a cabinet rail attached to a cabinet piece, an intermediate rail slidingly engaged with the cabinet rail via bearing runners, a drawer rail slidingly engaged with the intermediate rail via a bearing cage, and a cage hold forward device for advantageously positioning the bearing cage for ease of re-insertion of the drawer rail within the intermediated rail. The cage hold forward device is attached to the intermediate rail and comprises a protrusion for engagement with a flexible trigger mounted on the drawer rail and a flexible clip for releasable engagement with the bearing cage.
Abstract: An undermount drawer slide mounting clip releasably attaches a drawer to a drawer rail assembly mounted in a cabinet carcass. The apparatus is capable of effecting positional adjustments of the drawer in three directions without removing the drawer from the cabinet carcass. The apparatus is comprised of a body slidingly engaged with a bonnet. A trigger pivotally connected between the body and the bonnet. A spring loaded catch slidable within the bonnet and acted on by the trigger to releasably attach the apparatus to a drawer rail assembly. A threaded spindle rotates within the base and adjusts the horizontal position of the drawer. A ramp adjustably connected to the base adjusts the vertical position of the drawer. A plunger extends from a housing connected to the body and is adjacent the drawer rail assembly. A lever pivotable within the housing moves the plunger and adjusts the depth of the drawer.
Abstract: A hinge cover assembly for a pre-mounted hinge includes a cup cover releasably connected to a hinge cup of the pre-mounted hinge, an arm cover removably connected to a hinge arm of the pre-mounted hinge, the hinge arm pivotally connected to the hinge cup, and a hinge cover pivotally connected to the cup cover and slidably engaged with the arm cover. The hinge cover is pivotally connected to the hinge cup with a set of pins and a set of torsion springs. The set of torsion springs bias the hinge cover against the arm cover. As the hinge cup is pivoted between an open position and a closed position, the bias of the set of torsion springs and the slidable engagement of the hinge cover with the arm cover enables the hinge cover to extend and retract with respect to the hinge arm and cover the pre-mounted hinge.
