  • Apparatus for mechanically separating animal waste from litter

    Abstract: An apparatus, capable of functioning as a toilet for pets, and especially for cats. The apparatus mechanically separates animal solid waste and urine saturated litter clump waste from reusable litter during a complete revolution of the apparatus housing. Through rotation of the housing, a sifting member separates solid waste and litter clump waste from litter, the litter is aerated, and the sifting member becomes inclined in order to permit the separated waste to be propelled by gravity into a flexible waste receptacle.
