    Abstract: The present invention is directed to a coat having a shell piece, a fusible interlining, a lapel support component, and a separate chest support component. The shell piece includes body and lapel portions. The body portion has a curved upper edge for attachment to a sleeve. The fusible interlining is attached to only the body portion of the shell piece. The lapel support component is attached to only the lapel portion of the shell piece. The separate chest support component is attached to the body portion of the body piece. The lapel support component and the chest support component are formed from first and second materials having different average weights.

    Abstract: A display fixture of the etagere type having shelves arranged so that it can be trimmed with all the items of a complete clothing ensemble and which can also support a poster having a photograph of a model dressed in the clothing ensemble being displayed. The display fixture includes a base member and a top member of similar generally rectangular configuration which are connected by a plurality of wood uprights located at each corner of the base and top members. Additional uprights are located intermediate the corner uprights and are positioned on opposite sides of the fixture in alignment with one another and located closer to one end of the fixture than to the other end. The base and top members are each constructed of steel tubing of square transverse cross-section formed into a rectangular shaped ring. Stub portions located at the corners of the rectangular ring and intermediate stub portions extend at right angles to the plane of the rectangular ring.

    Abstract: A method of making both full size and miniature replicas of patterns on photographic film from conventional paperboard clothing patterns. The full size clothing pattern replicas on film may be arranged directly on a conventional marker sheet in place of the paperboard clothing patterns. The miniature pattern replicas may be arranged on miniature marker sheet replicas constructed to the same scale as the miniature pattern replicas. The layout may be copied and the copy of the miniature pattern layout may be used as a guide in laying out full size patterns or pattern replicas on a marker sheet or the copy may be enlarged and reproduced to its original scale on a light sensitive marker sheet. The clothing pattern replicas may be formed with integral blocking borders or blocking lines.

    Abstract: Remotely operated mechanisms for quickly clamping and unclamping one or both sides of an automatic catcher for a cloth spreading machine to a cloth cutting table. These mechanisms permit the automatic catcher to be clamped to and released from the cutting table by an operator who remains on one side of the table. The operator can also connect and disconnect the automatic catcher relative to the cloth spreading machine while remaining on one side of the cutting table.
