Patent number: 10138114Abstract: A powder dispensing apparatus for dispensing a powder either with or without a liquid is presented. The apparatus includes a base, dispenser, and tower. The base is adapted for receiving a container. The dispenser includes a rotatable or slidable carriage. The carriage includes at least one compartment horizontally disposed above an optional funnel. The carriage is rotatable about a central axis or translatable parallel to and below the hopper. A hopper is disposed above the carriage and communicates with less than all compartments. Each compartment is capable of separately dispensing a powder from the hopper into the funnel and thereafter into the container resting on the base. The tower is disposed between and attached at opposing ends to the base and the dispenser. The apparatus is useful, for example, in preparing baby formula and other food for infants, as well as in preparing food and drink for children and adults.Type: GrantFiled: March 15, 2013Date of Patent: November 27, 2018Assignees: Product Spring, LLC, Taylored Concepts, LLC, Hartdesign! Patent number: 9999838Abstract: A portable childrens' water slide apparatus having a water slide with an elongate plastic sheet extending horizontally along the ground between entry and exit ends and, a water chamber extending along one edge of the sheet with an inlet and outlet jets for spraying water over the sheet. A delayed return, flow control valve coupled between the chamber and a water hose has a valve actuating member with a horizontal, step-on panel movable between an upper, throttling position and a depressed, unthrottling position when stepped on before entering the slide. A spring biases the panel upwards. A valve body has a flow control member linked to the panel for movement to an unthrottling position by depression by a child stepping thereon, permitting a maximum water flow to the slide during sliding; and a device delays return of the flow control member to the throttling position after stepping off the panel.Type: GrantFiled: July 18, 2017Date of Patent: June 19, 2018Assignee: HARTDESIGN Ltd.Inventors: Mark Ellard Hartelius, Kimberlee Wilkens

Patent number: 8584901Abstract: A powder dispensing apparatus for dispensing a powder either with or without a liquid is presented. The apparatus includes a base, a dispenser, and a tower. The base is adapted for receiving a container. The dispenser includes a rotatable carriage contacting a support element with an opening. The carriage includes a plurality of compartments horizontally disposed above an optional funnel and rotatable about a central axis. A hopper is disposed above the carriage and communicates with less than all compartments. Each compartment is capable of separately dispensing a powder from the hopper through the opening into the funnel and thereafter into the container resting on the base. The tower is disposed between and attached at opposing ends to the base and the dispenser. The apparatus is useful, for example, in preparing baby formula and other food for infants, as well as in preparing food and drink for children and adults.Type: GrantFiled: August 3, 2011Date of Patent: November 19, 2013Assignees: Product Spring, LLC, Taylored Concepts, LLC, Hartdesign!
