  • Patent number: 5685748
Abstract: For a unilaterally contacting contact spring for electric connectors, it is proposed to influence the contact force of the spring limb by means of an adjusting spring which acts upon the spring limb. As a result, a high contact pressure is already achieved upon slight deflection of the spring limb and, upon maximum deflection, the characteristic curve of the spring presents a flatter shape so that the contact force does not assume excessively high values.

  • Patent number: 5577935
Abstract: For a coaxial angular connector with at least two coaxial contacts for installation on a printed circuit board, with a housing block assembled from two subshells, in the interior of which the neutral wires of the coaxial contacts are taken from a plug connection side to a terminal side on the printed circuit board, it is proposed that two mutually overlapping partitions or shielding walls be provided between the neutral wires for their mutual shielding. Due to the overlapping of the partitions, the joint gap of the two half shells between the neutral wires is constructed as a labyrinth impermeable to high frequency radiation.

  • Patent number: 5318457
Abstract: For an electrical plug and socket connection with housing halves that can be locked together, for which a sleeve, which can be shifted in the longitudinal direction of the housing halves, is provided for cancelling the locking, it is proposed that the locking elements be constructed as latches, which grip behind the locking shoulder at the one half of the housing in order to lock the two halves of the housing together. For this purpose, the latches are provided with an inclined surface, which is acted upon by an edge of the sleeve to unlock the connection. When tension is applied to the sleeve in a direction opposite to the plug-in direction, the edge of the sleeve presses the latches out of the locking position.

  • Patent number: 5277616
Abstract: For an electrical connector for connecting insulated electrical conductors, preferably an electrical plug and socket connector, with contact elements disposed in chambers of a carrying base with cutting and insulation displacement connections for connection to the conductor, the conductors being introduced into the connector in the axial direction, relative to the contact elements, it is proposed that the conductors be pressed by means of a conductor guiding element, which is constructed as a pressure part, into the cutting and insulation displacement connections. At the same time, the conductors are pushed through a guiding borehole, in which they are deflected in such a manner, that they are guided obliquely through a recess in the conductor guiding element. When the carrying base and the conductor guiding element are joined together, the cutting and insulation displacement connections dip into these recesses and, in so doing, are connected with the conductors.

  • Patent number: 4942980
Abstract: For a vending machine for dispensing parallelepiped products, which are arranged in horizontal product stacks, a dispensing device is provided, which separates the first product package to be dispensed by tipping the package away from the product stack, with the remaining product stack being held in place. It is furthermore provided that the product package falls onto an inclined plane when tipped, from which it slides down under its own weight and reaches the dispensing opening of the vending machine. It is further provided that the dispensing device follows the product stack as the products are dispensed, or that the product stack be made so that it can move towards the dispensing device. The dispensing device is arranged on horizontal guide rails and several dispensing devices can be provided within one product row.

  • Patent number: 4634206
Abstract: The invention refers to an apparatus for inserting a flat cable into a housing, which ensures safeguarding the cable or the cable connections on the inside of the housing against tensile stress. The apparatus is to a large extent adapted to the measurements of the flat cable (width/thickness) and also offers sufficient protection in preventing foreign material from entering into the inside of the housing. For this purpose, the housing is provided with a frame-shaped mounting part (1, 102) which has posts (14, 106) arranged on opposite sides. In the bottom area of the mounting part there is provided a cable passage (23, 104) facing towards the inside space of the housing, and in the mounting part there is provided a groove (22, 103) with rim-side shoulders (10, 105) for an insertable, elastic seal (2, 110). The seal is provided with a passage opening (28, 122) corresponding to the shape of the cross-section of the flat cable (9, 109).
