Abstract: An ultrasonic treatment apparatus, for radiation of ultrasonic waves onto a skin surface or inside the body of a person, serves to kill bacteria, viruses, etc. The apparatus includes a treatment vessel; a first ultrasonic generating element disposed at a predetermined location in the treatment vessel; and a vibrator unit movably disposed in the treatment vessel. The vibrator unit includes a housing forming a sealed chamber and serving as an abutment section to abut against a part to be treated, and a second ultrasonic generating element attached to the abutment section and having a hollow section formed on a rear face thereof. Not only a skin surface can be irradiated with ultrasonic waves by driving the first ultrasonic generating element, but also an interior part of the body can be irradiated with the ultrasonic waves by driving the second ultrasonic generating element.
Abstract: There is provided an ultrasonic treatment apparatus, which may treat a part of the body to be treated without use of a medical agent. The ultrasonic treatment apparatus comprises a treatment vessel (11), an ultrasonic element, an ultrasonic element driving circuit, and an operation section (13), wherein the treatment vessel (11) accommodates a medium; the ultrasonic element generates ultrasonic waves in the treatment vessel (11), irradiates the ultrasonic waves to the medium accommodated in the treatment vessel (11), and decomposes the water in the medium to thereby generate hydroxyl radicals; the ultrasonic element driving circuit drives the ultrasonic element; and the operation section (13) is for setting given sterilization conditions determined by the amount of hydroxyl radicals generated by means of the ultrasonic waves.
