Abstract: A plate type condenser is constituted by a primary condensation section and a secondary condensation section positioned on the downstream side of the primary condenser. The primary condenser comprises a plurality of condensation elements and a plurality of condensate discharge grooves extending along respective condensation elements and inclined in the form of a herringbone with respect to the passages which pass a heated medium to be condensed and a medium to be heated in opposite directions.
