    Abstract: A power saving system for a hotel guest room has a keyboard operated control circuit that controls operation of an electrical load, such as a room air conditioner, and arms a door-window security circuit. When the guest enters the room, he disables the load control and security alarm system by actuation of a suitable contact on the keyboard. Prior to leaving the room, in order to secure it, he enables the security alarm system, and also the electrical load control, by making a suitable entry on the keyboard.
