Abstract: An energy guidance/heat deflecting device for redirecting convective and radiant energy leaving from an interior volume of a smokeless fire pit out an open top of the smokeless fire pit. The energy guidance/heat deflecting device typically includes: a circular, planar bottom support; at least three upwardly extending supports each spaced from one another and spaced about the exterior perimeter portion of the circular, planar bottom support and proximate the exterior perimeter edge of the circular, planar bottom support; and a downwardly facing truncated cone shaped energy deflecting material.
