An example trigger apparatus for use with a firearm having a breech block includes a latch moveable between a blocking position that blocks the breech block and a non-blocking position that does not block the breech block. The latch includes a sear arm and a securing element movably coupled to the sear arm. The securing element to enable, with a securing device in a securing position. The latch to be moved to the non-blocking position by a retracting breach. The securing device movable by an advancing breech block to position the securing element adjacent a surface of the securing device in the securing position to secure the latch in the blocking position.

Abstract: Electronic trigger apparatus for use with firearms are described herein. An example electronic trigger apparatus described herein includes a trigger assembly having a trigger and trigger arm that is movable between a first position and a second position. A first biasing element biases the trigger in the first position and provides a first resistance to the trigger when the trigger moves between the first position and the second position. A switch element assembly has a spring element and a sensor operatively coupled to the spring element where the spring element provides a second resistance to the trigger as the trigger moves between a pressure-point position and the second position. The sensor detects a force or deflection imparted on the spring element by the trigger arm when the trigger is in the second position.

Abstract: Firing assemblies for use with firearms are described. A firing assembly for use with a firearm includes a hammer pivotably coupled to a hammer shaft. The hammer includes a hammer stop notch that at least partially engages a portion of a lever of a trigger assembly when the hammer is in a cocked position and a control curve section that engages a surface of the lever to retain the lever in an unlocked position as the hammer moves between the cocked position and a firing position. Additionally, the firing assembly includes a control element pivotably coupled to the hammer shaft and adjacent the hammer, wherein the control element includes a first control curve portion that at least partially adjoins the control curve section and wherein the hammer interacts with the control element to change a control curve region as the hammer moves between cocked position and the firing position.

An example firearm includes a first identification number visibly located on the firearm; and a second, hidden or disguised identification number associated with the first identification number to facilitate identifying the firearm if the first identification number is destroyed, changed, or damaged.

Abstract: Apparatus and methods are described for a weapon simulator. An example weapon simulator includes a pressure piston, which is couplable to a weapon, which acts to open a breech, and which is seated in a pressure cylinder. An example pressure piston includes a slider. The slider holds a pressure intake opening open and keeps one or more pressure outlet openings closed when the breech block is in a front-most position. In addition, the slider keeps the pressure intake opening closed and holds the one or more pressure outlet opening open when the breech block is in a rear-most position.

A second actuation drive is operatively coupled to the actuation member and biases the actuation member to the initial position when the first actuation drive is releasably coupled from the actuating member via the clutch.

Abstract: Locking systems for use with firearms are described. An example locking system for use with a firearm includes a breechblock carrier and a lock spring mechanism that includes a piston. The breechblock carrier is configured to interaction with the piston. Additionally, the example locking system includes a first aperture. The piston is configured to expel fluid through the first aperture when the breechblock carrier retracts.

Abstract: A firearm grip, a firearm grip construction set and related methods are disclosed. An example firearm grip includes a grip portion, which includes a wall covering at least a portion of a magazine and a plurality of ribs. The firearm grip also has a first grip shell having a plurality of first lateral edges, second grip shell having a plurality of second lateral edges, and a grip back having a top edge and a bottom edge. With the example firearm grip, at least one of the first grip shell or the second grip shell is exchangeable. In addition, at least one of the first grip shell, the second grip shell or the grip back is coupled to the grip portion with an undercut tongue and groove connection.

An example adjustable shoulder stock apparatus for use with firearms includes a shoulder stock into which a connecting piece of the firearm is to be inserted. The connecting piece defines a plurality of boreholes. Additionally, the example adjustable shoulder stock apparatus includes a bolt having a end to be inserted in one of the plurality of boreholes to secure the shoulder stock relative to the connecting piece. Further the example adjustable shoulder stock apparatus includes a lever that defines a recess that is open toward a top of the firearm and is closed toward a bottom of the firearm. An opposite end of the bolt is positioned in the recess and coupled to the lever. The lever is to remove the bolt from the one of the plurality of boreholes. The lever comprises a projection to engage a wall of the shoulder stock to prevent movement of the lever past the wall.

Abstract: Described herein are examples of firearms and firearm assemblies. In one example, a firearm assembly for use in a firearm including a breech block, includes safety equipment; a slide stop, wherein the slide stop is adjustable between an arresting position that locks the breech block and a position that does not lock the breech block; and a safety element adjustable relative to the slide stop between a neutral position and secured position, wherein in the secured position if the breech block exerts an operating force on the safety element and the safety element engages the safety equipment, the safety element fixes the slide stop in its arresting position.

Abstract: Methods and apparatus are disclosed for a locked machine gun that includes a casing, a barrel, a locking breech mechanism, an abutment and a quick change attachment. The locking breech mechanism has at least one locking body. The abutment holds the locking body or locking bodies of the locked breech mechanism. The quick-change attachment is used to facilitate the removal of the barrel and insertion and attachment of a new barrel. A first part of the abutment remains on the casing when the barrel is being changed, and a second part of the abutment is firmly connected to the barrel. The quick-change attachment is equipped to bring about a separation between the first part of the abutment remaining with the casing and the barrel with the second part. Also, the second part of the abutment has a curved section which controls the engagement of the breech mechanism in the abutment when the breech mechanism closes.

Abstract: Methods and apparatus are described for safety apparatuses for weapons. An example safety apparatus includes an interchangeable barrel and a safety mechanism. The safety mechanism can be moved between an open position that corresponds to an unlocked position and a closed position that corresponds to a locked position. The safety mechanism includes a feeder cover that is part of cartridge loading equipment that supplies cartridges to the weapon. The feeder cover includes a locking mechanism that engages with a barrel locking device and prevents the feeder cover from entering the closed position if the interchangeable barrel is not coupled to the weapon via the barrel locking device. Further, the unlocked position prevents the weapon from being fired and the locked position allows the weapon to be fired.

Abstract: Accessory rails for use with firearms are disclosed. Abstract: A method and apparatus are described for an exchangeable barrel module for a firearm equipped with the same. An example firearm includes an exchangeable barrel module, which includes a barrel and a barrel jacket. The barrel module also includes a range finder, control electronics, a transmitter to transfer the result of the control electronics to a projectile, an operating element, and a power supply. Further, the barrel jacket holds the barrel and at least a portion of the range finder, the control electronics, the transmitter, the operating elements, or the power supply.
