An example gas block is described for an automatic firearm, which has a gas cylinder that can be connected in a fluid-tight manner to a hole in the gun barrel via a gas channel, characterized by a control element that can be switched between at least two positions and is designed to open the gas channel in the first position, in which the fluid-tight connection is obtained, and to close the gas channel in the second position, in which the fluid-tight connection is interrupted. Abstract: Provided is a firearm stock having a butt stock assembly and a lack mechanism. The butt stock assembly pivotable between an extended position and a folded position. The latch mechanism is operable to selectively lock the butt stock assembly in the extended position. The latch mechanism has a latch lever rotatable between open and locked positions and has a tooth that engages a cammed socket. Moving the latch lever toward the locked position tensions the latch lever to bias the butt stock into the extended position without mechanical play.

These each follow a trajectory when retracted. The firearm also comprises one or more reference elements, which indicate such a predetermined position of the loading system elements along their respective trajectories, at which the chamber is opened, such that a cartridge potentially located in the chamber can be seen and/or felt, but is not ejected. The predetermined position of the loading system element is distanced to possible positions for disassembling the firearm, and the one or more reference elements are formed such that they ensure that the loading system elements can travel freely along their respective trajectories when the safety for the firearm is either on or off.

Abstract: A firearm with a compound lever trigger mechanism includes a first member pivotally attached to a firearm receiver at a first pivot and a first lever arm extending away from the first pivot attachment point to a sear. The first member is pivotable between a first position where the sear engages a firing element and a second position where the sear does not engage the firing element. A trigger member is pivotally attached to the first member first lever arm with a trigger blade arm extending away from the second pivot in one direction and a bearing arm extending away in another direction toward bearing contact with a surface of the receiver. Pulling the trigger blade arm causes the trigger member to pivot relative to the first member and the bearing arm to move in bearing contact against the receiver, thereby pivoting the lever arm from the first position to the second position.
