Abstract: The invention relates to a method and apparatus for the dejacketing of flat, parallelipipedic blocks packed in folding cartons. Dejacketing is performed in three steps. First the flaps provided overlapping one another on opposite sides are unfolded by being moved past unfolding tools. The blocks are then moved past a further unfolding tool which is disposed on the third narrow side and which unfolds the flaps provided at that place. In the third step the folding carton is seized by its lower flap on the third side and pulled downwards, the block being simultaneously advanced in the direction of its open third side, and the top side is stripped off at a fixed stripper.
Abstract: The invention relates to a saw band guide, comprising a supporting roller 3 supporting the saw band at its unserrated rear edge, and a guide fork 2 whose fork branches 2a, 2b, bearing hard metal plates 4a, 4b, form a guide gap in which the saw band 1 is guided laterally with its surface bearing against the hard metal plates 4a, 4b and which forms on the rear side an opening 2c into which sawn material stripped off by the hard metal plates 4a, 4b is conveyed.
Abstract: The invention relates to a parting device for substantially parallelipipedic bodies of deep-frozen foodstuffs or feedstuffs. For the purpose of supplying the body (4) to be parted centred to parting elements, stop rails (2, 3) which can be urged towards the body (4) to be guided are disposed on both sides thereof. The stop rails (2, 3) are mounted via sliding pins (9, 11) in bearing blocks (13, 15) and so interconnected via a transmission comprising lever arms (26, 27), control shafts (20, 21) and links (28, 29) that they can be uniformly expanded apart against the force of springs, so that bodies of any width can be supplied centred to the parting elements.
