Abstract: A conveyor belt for endless conveyor belt systems is laid in tight curve radii because the belt and the guide bar, which is attached to the underside of the belt, consist of highly elastic rubber. The belt is reinforced by preferably diagonally placed fabric inserts and can be pre-stretched in the longitudinal direction by means of a traction beam attached only at individual points so that it can do an optimum job in performing its transport function. The reversing rollers and the roller blocks are divided or are made up of individual units in order not to influence the guide bar, which runs in the middle, during the overrun. In this way, the necessary drive forces can attack at many corresponding places depending on the curve radius, without the conveyor as a whole, with a length of 100 meters and more, being subject to the so-called flip-arc effect.
