Abstract: A work station with an adjustable height work surface includes a telescoping height adjustment mechanism. Stabilizers, spaced apart from the telescoping height adjustment mechanism, prohibit rotation of the work surface. A pair of guide members is attached to support walls by way of slides. The slides allow movement of the work surface vertically prohibiting rotational movement of the work surface. The workstation is provided with sidewalls allowing the workstation to be used with other pieces in modular configuration.
