Abstract: A one-piece mount for mounting a cable tie to a mounting surface includes a head section defining a strap receiving channel. A pair of laterally spaced legs extend from the head to a distal end of the mount. A pair of locating arms associated respectively with the pair of legs extending laterally from a side of each respective leg. Each leg includes a retaining spring tab extending outwardly an upwardly from the leg. The spring tabs are movable towards the leg from an expanded to a compressed configuration, to allow the legs to be inserted through a mounting aperture in a mounting surface. The spring tabs and the arms are spaced along the legs. The arms are located between the spring tabs and the head, and engage and locate against the outside of a mounting surface. The spring tabs engage an underside of the mounting surface in the expanded configuration.

Abstract: A fence panel coupler includes a first coupling member having first and second connector portions, each having an opening for receiving first fence post and a second fence posts. A second coupling member includes third and fourth connector portions, also with openings for receiving the first and second fence posts. The first and second coupling members are applied to the fence posts in an insertion first direction and moved together to a closed configuration in a second direction perpendicular to the insertion direction. Integral locking elements lock the first and second coupling members together in the closed configuration. The connector portions cooperate to surround the fence posts and prevent removal of the fence post coupler from the fence posts.

The assembly comprises a first clamping jaw including an integral elongate locking element, and first guides laterally disposed on opposing sides of the locking element. A second clamping jaw includes a locking channel and second guides. At least one mounting aperture is arranged relative to a mounting surface such that a fastening strap may be passed through the aperture and looped over the surface to secure a cable thereto. The guides engage to align, and to guide, the jaws towards each other in a clamping direction. The locking element is insertable through the locking channel in the clamping direction. The locking element and locking channel are configured to interlock to prevent removal of the locking element from the locking channel in a direction opposite to the clamping direction, such that the jaws are held in a clamping configuration.

Advantageously this enables the strap and the head to be formed from stainless steel strip having the same width as the head and the strap. It is therefore not necessary to trim the material of either part, hence there is significantly reduced material wastage when forming the termination band. In addition, because the strap and head are both initially in the form of straight-sided elongate strips prior to the folding or joining operations, both parts may be easily edge finished and/or surface finished.
