  • Publication number: 20200407129
Abstract: A tap lock has an engagement member, a barrier member, and a retainer member that extends between the engagement member and the barrier member and that retains the engagement member at a fixed position relative to the barrier member. The engagement member removably attaches to a support structure of a tap dispensing closure of a container body. The barrier member is disposed proximate an outlet passage and valve member of the tap dispensing closure. The barrier member limits movement of the valve member from a closed position toward an open position to prevent leakage of material from the outlet passage.

  • Patent number: 10858523
Abstract: Provided herein are highly conductive compositions (having a volume resistivity no greater than 1×10?3 Ohms·cm) using silver flake, powder or suspension in solvent for electromagnetic interference (EMI) applications. This high conductivity will allow the use of very thin films for EMI shielding protection, which in turn will be helpful to reduce package sizes. In some embodiments, the coating composition is applied on the device surface by suitable means, e.g., by an electrostatic spray process, air spray process, ultrasonic spray process, spin coating process, or the like.

  • Patent number: 10850898
Abstract: A container body has a neck defining an opening with an axis. The neck includes a projection that projects radially away from the axis. A cap includes a wall that defines at least part of an exterior of the cap. The wall includes an aperture extending therethrough. The cap is removably attached to the neck and supported for movement on the neck between a first position and a second position. The wall is resiliently flexible for radial movement between a retained position and an unretained position with respect to the neck. In the retained position the projection retains the cap in the first position. The wall, in the unretained position, allows movement of the cap from the first position toward the second position.

  • Publication number: 20200362278
Abstract: Disclosed is a method for producing a unit-dose capsule which includes optionally forming the first film into the shape of an first cavity, supercooling a first component to a temperature at which the equilibrium state of the first component is a solid or semi-solid, dispensing the first component in a supercooled state into the first cavity, such that the first component gels to form at least one layer of gel adhered to and/or in contact with the first film, forming a second film into the shape of a second cavity, filling the second cavity with a second component, sealing the first film to the second film to form a sealed cavity having at least one chamber containing the first component and the second component. The method may further include wetting and perforating the first film. The unit-dose capsule includes the sealed container and the two components.

  • Patent number: 10829723
Abstract: A device for removing oxidizable stains includes a device body having an opening and an internal space disposed therein. The device body includes a wall that at least partially surrounds the internal space. At least part of the wall is a flexible wall. A frangible wall separates the internal space into a first chamber and a second chamber. One or more solid components are disposed in the first chamber and include an active oxygen component. Water is disposed in the second chamber. A bleach activator component forms part of the one or more solid components or is included with water. The device is configured such that when a force is applied to strain the flexible wall, the frangible wall breaks to allow contact between water and the one or more solid components to form a peracid solution.

  • Patent number: 10834858
Abstract: A method for shielding a system-in-package (SIP) assembly from electromagnetic interference (EMI) includes laminating a pre-form EMI shielding film onto the assembly in a single lamination process. The EMI shielding film may be moldable in a vacuum lamination process to cover the SIP assembly and to substantially fill trenches formed in the assembly between adjacent component modules. The SIP assembly is accordingly shielded from EMI through the application of a single EMI shielding film.

  • Patent number: 10822148
Abstract: A container includes a container body with a projection and a cap with a cover member, an inner member, and an outer member. The inner member is threadably engaged to the neck of the container body and is supported for movement between a first threaded position and a second threaded position relative to the container body. The outer member depends from the cover member and extends at least partly about the inner member and an axis. The outer member includes a tamper-evident member that includes an abutment member configured to engage with the projection to limit movement of the cap from the first threaded position to the second threaded position. Also, the tamper-evident member is permanently deformable to disengage the projection and allow movement of the cap from the first threaded position to the second threaded position.
