    Abstract: An improved device for containing and inserting tampons, suppositories and other objects includes the suppository or object, a transporter comprising a sheath or a combination of straps which surrounds the suppository or object and is open at one end, a long hollow cylinder, a short hollow cylinder attached to said transporter and slidably mounted on the outside of the long cylinder. The elements are arranged such that the tampon or other object may be inserted into an opening without frictional movement between the opening and either the long hollow cylinder or the sheath or the straps. The device is significantly more compact than prior art applicator devices and provides for smoothness and ease of insertion.

    Abstract: A chair, infinitely or incrementally adjustable between an upright seating mode and a full-recline mode, includes a concave seating portion continuous with a convex doubly-extensible leg support portion which combine to form an ergonomicly preferred seating attitude when the chair is in a full recline mode. A synchronous belt drive system extends and retracts the legrest and footrest portions and a passive/active height adjust mechanism is provided. The legrest and footrest portions are retained in a tuck position beneath the seating area of the chair when the chair is in an upright mode. A double extension leg support mechanism is provided for extending the legrest and footrest portions relative to the degree of recline.

    Abstract: A multidirection connector housing for an electronic plug assembly comprises a body portion, a strain relief portion and a locking mechanism for locking the body portion and the strain relief portion together in at least seven orientations with respect to a connector plug. The plane formed at the intersection of the body portion and the strain relief portion is aligned at substantially 45.degree. to the longitudinal axis of the body portion. The strain relief portion includes an internal cable passageway providing substantially 45.degree. of turn. The profiles of the strain relief portion and body portion locking members are preferably square. Preferred embodiments provide ready interchange of cable orientations.
