  • Patent number: 4551294
Abstract: The novel molding compositions with vinyl chloride polymer as the main constituent contain, in a specific quantity in each case, certain impact strength modifiers, polymethyl methacrylate and a special cellulose, namely powdered pure cellulose having a mean degree of polymerization of 300 to 1,000 and a maximum particle diameter of 0.09 mm. These molding compositions can readily be calendered. The films are particularly suitable for the production of forgery-proof valuable documents which can be personalized by means of a laser, for example credit cards.
