Abstract: An antiseptic composition for use as bone cement, in particular an antiseptic polymethylmethacrylate bone cement. The composition can be cured and comprises a pharmacologically tolerable salt of a monoperoxy dicarboxylic acid, whereby the salt of the monoperoxy dicarboxylic acid can be dissolved from the composition in the presence of water. Preferably, the salt of the monoperoxy dicarboxylic acid in the composition is used in the form of a powder, whereby the powder has a mean particle size of not more than 250 ?m. Preferably, the salt of the monoperoxy dicarboxylic acid, in solution at room temperature, is not degraded within 5 min by the catalase enzyme.

Abstract: A conductive paste for forming a solar cell electrode, including: a conductive powder containing silver as a main component; glass frit; and an organic vehicle, wherein the glass frit contains tellurium glass frit having tellurium oxide as a network-forming component. The conductive paste of the present invention makes it possible to form a solar cell electrode having a low dependence on firing temperature without causing problems due to fire-through into the substrate, and to thereby obtain a solar cell having good solar cell characteristics.

Abstract: The invention proposes a polymer solution for visco-supplementation. Abstract: One aspect provides a feedthrough device for an implantable medical device. The feedthrough includes a ferrule having a metal that is configured to be welded to a case of the implantable device. An insulator is substantially surrounded by the ferrule and shares an interface therewith, the insulator being a glass or ceramic material. Conductive elements are formed through the insulator providing an electrically conductive path through the insulator. There is no braze, solder, or weld joint at the interface between the ferrule and the insulator and that there is no braze or solder at interfaces between the insulator and the conductive elements.
