Abstract: An irradiation device for irradiating of body parts of a patient is provided, with a carrier system which provides a basic framework of the irradiation device with at least one light head with a light source for the irradiation, and a control element for operating the irradiation device. The irradiation device moreover includes a separate control module that is connected with the carrier system with at least one control for controlling the at least one light head. Innovative assembly and connection arrangements aid rapid and secure positioning.
