    Abstract: Unfolding clasp (1) for a bracelet (4), comprising two lateral, articulated plates (10) with a central plate (11) so as to be able to ensure the opening of the bracelet. The plates (10, 11) are made of a flexible material able to adopt the shape of the wrist of the wearer of the bracelet. The deformation of the plates caused by a force applied perpendicular to the plane (x, z) containing the plates is greater than the deformation of the plates caused by an identical force applied in any other direction. The plates are made of a composite material, for example including a metallic reinforcement (100, 110) covered by a flexible material (101, 111) such as caoutchouc, plastic or leather.

    Abstract: The watchband includes, for example, three rows of metallic links. The links of the first central row (1, 1', etc.) are shifted with respect to the links of the two other rows (2, 2', etc.). Each link of the central row (1') can pivot with respect to the preceding link (1) and with respect to the following link (1") about pins (3) connected to the links of lateral rows. Stop elements, for example other pins (4, 4') likewise connected to the links of lateral rows, allow limitation of the pivot angle of the central links about the first pins (3). The links can be removed to adjust the length of the band. Advantages: ergonomics, avoidance of the risk of pinching skin or hair, aesthetics, reduction of the wear and tear of the surface of the links, control of the curvature of the band and of the interstices between successive links.

    Abstract: A method and apparatus is provided for analog indications of the proximity to failure of an integrated services digital network. Analog indications or figures-of-merit can include: 1) the tolerable increase in two-wire line attenuation, 2) the tolerable decrease in receiver sensitivity in a line termination unit, and 3) the tolerable decrease in receiver sensitivity in a network termination unit. The margin test apparatus of the present invention comprises a network termination unit including means for coupling a two-wire to a four-wire line, a first adjustable attenuator for adjustably attenuating a received signal, a second adjustable attenuator for adjustably attenuating a transmitted signal, and a failure detection means which monitors the received signal and is calibrated such that it detects a signal failure if the level of the received signal is less than a predetermined threshold level.
