  • Patent number: 11518484
Abstract: A wheel kit for use with a boat lift includes an upper member attachable to the boat lift, and a lower member slidably disposable within the upper member. The lower member contains an axle and a wheel assembly. A braking member includes a base plate with a first side and an opposing second side, a wedge portion outwardly extending from an upper end of the first side, and a tab outwardly extending from a lower end of the first side of the base plate. The braking member slidably disposes upon the axle via an aperture contained within the base plate. When positioning the lower member into the upper member to retract the wheel assembly, the wedge portion of the braking member contacts a closed terminal end of a slot contain within the upper member, outwardly urging the braking member against the wheel assembly to prevent rotation of the wheel assembly.

  • Patent number: 10760232
Abstract: An adjustable leg for use with a dock includes a tubular, lower member having a non-circular cross-section when taken normal to a longitudinal axis where the lower member has a first end and a second end. The lower member further includes a plate secured to the first end, the plate having a threaded through bore, and a disc secure to the plate. The disc has an elliptical aperture that is biased from the plate. The adjustable leg includes a tubular, upper member having a non-circular cross-section when taken normal to the longitudinal axis. The upper member is sized to be positioned over the lower member. The upper member further includes a threaded rod rotatably positioned within an interior cavity of the upper member, the threaded rod rotatably secured to the upper member. The threaded rod is configured to threadably engage the threaded bore and wherein the disc is configured engage the threaded rod and to place upward pressure on the threaded rod to prevent or reduce unwanted rotation of the rod.

  • Patent number: 10654548
Abstract: A bunk for a boat lift includes a bottom portion pivotally configured to attach to one or more lifting beams of the boat lift. A top portion is positionably securable to the bottom portion wherein the top portion comprises includes a boat engaging surface having a first end and a second end wherein the first end is a first distance from a midplane of the top portion and the second end is a second distance from the midplane of the top portion. The top portion is positionable into a first position where the boat engaging surface is in a first position relative to the bottom portion and wherein the top portion is positionable into a second position by moving the top portion end for end relative to the bottom portion wherein boat engaging surface is a second position relative to the bottom portion.

  • Patent number: 10308322
Abstract: An onboard lift for a pontoon boat has four legs pivotally attached underneath a platform and extending between the outer pontoons. Each leg terminates in a slide foot. The pivot pin for each leg is canted, such as at 13° relative to horizontal. In a stowed position, the legs and slide feet extend forward in the direction of travel and tight to the platform. When used to lift the boat, actuation of the legs pushes the slide feet outward due to the cant of the pivot axis, such that the slide feet are positioned underneath the outer pontoons when the boat is fully raised. The control allows separate powering of the front legs from the rear legs, and further has a display so the user can see the amount of extension of each set of legs.

  • Patent number: 8430045
Abstract: An onboard lift leg construction for a pontoon boat has a plurality of movable support legs including rear telescoping tube support legs that are fixed to a frame of a pontoon boat. The telescoping tube support legs each include an outer tube fixed to the frame, and an inner tube slidably mounted within the outer tube. A linear hydraulic actuator is secured to a head member that is supported on the outer tube. The actuator has an extendable and retractable rod that is attached or secured to the lower end of the inner tube such that when the actuator is extended, the inner tube is also extended to effectively lift the pontoon boat to which the outer tube is attached. The forward portions of the pontoon boat frame can be provided with pivoting lift legs for lifting the pontoon boat.
