Abstract: Acoustic echo cancellation for a video conference system is described. A location of a person in a room can be determined. An audio signal received from the location of the person can be captured using beamforming. An acoustic echo cancellation parameter can be determined based in part on the audio signal captured from the location of the person. Acoustic echo cancellation can be performed on the audio signal using the acoustic echo cancellation parameter.

Abstract: Pigment based inks are provided. The inks include a non-polar carrier fluid; and a surface-functionalized pigment particle including a nitrogen-inked moiety to the surface of the pigment particle through a nitrogen link at one end of the nitrogen-linked moiety and a segment copolymer having at least two blocks attached at another end, the pigment particle suspended in the non-polar carrier fluid. A combination of an electronic display and an electronic ink employing the pigment and a process for making the pigment-based inks are also provided.

Abstract: A method to calibrate a printer, in which printing of a plurality of uniform area fills using a variety of combinations of at least first and second types of correction is controlled, both the first and second type of correction being varied in the variety of combinations; and in which measurement of optical density uniformity of the plurality of uniform area fills is controlled.

Abstract: An electronic certificate has content data specifying an attribute delegation from an identified issuer to an identified subject, and an electronic signature for confirming the content data. The content data includes a condition requiring that a particular subject must have a particular attribute in order for the delegation to be valid. This particular subject may be the same as or different from the identified subject. More than one such subject-directed condition can be included in the certificate, the conditions being combined in a predetermined logical relationship.
