Abstract: Examples provided herein transmits a General Packet Radio Service (GPRS) Tunneling Protocol (GTP) message between first and second termination devices. One or more Ethernet frames carrying a GTP message are received by a controller by the first termination device in response to the destination Media Access Control (MAC) address of the Ethernet frames matching a MAC address assigned to the controller. An IP address of a second termination device is selected as the destination for transporting the GTP message based on an element included in the received GTP message.

Abstract: Example method includes: identifying three relationships about a network function in an intent-based stateful network—(1) the network function forwarding a network packet implies that at least one previous network packet was received by the network function in the same direction prior to the network packet is forwarded, (2) an established state in the network function implies that at least one previous network packet was received at the network function, (3) the network function receiving the network packet as a downward network function implies the network packet was previously sent by a second network function acting as an upward network function; encoding the network function using a combination of at least one of the three identified relationships; and verifying a plurality of network intents in the intent-based stateful network based at least in part on the encoding of the network function.

Abstract: Examples disclosed herein relate to virtual Fiber Channel port migration. In some examples disclosed herein, a failure in a primary physical host bus adapter (HBA) hosting a plurality of virtual HBA ports assigned to a virtual machine may be detected. In response to the detecting, incoming input/output (I/O) requests from the virtual machine may be placed into a wait queue, and the plurality of virtual HBA ports may be migrated to a backup physical HBA. After the plurality of virtual HBA ports have been migrated to the backup physical HBA, the I/O requests in the wait queue may be transferred to an active queue to be processed using the plurality of virtual HBA ports registered on the backup physical HBA.

Abstract: According to some examples, systems and methods are provided for voltage sampling using one or more analog-to-digital converters (ADCs) to sense divided portions of a sampled voltage (e.g., of an output signal), using the one or more analog-to-digital converters to provide a plurality of digital values representative of those divided portions, and combining the plurality of digital values to produce a total digital value representative of the sampled voltage. Such systems and methods can achieve a high resolution for the total digital value while permitting use of ADCs that have a resolution lower than would otherwise be required to achieve the high resolution.

Abstract: A technique includes receiving a command in a target port, where the command is provided by an initiator and is associated with a write operation. The technique includes, in response to the command, using the target to process a data transfer for the initiator associated with the write operation. The processing includes, based on a characteristic of the command, selectively using memory for the transfer pre-allocated by a storage array controller prior to receipt of the command by the target port or requesting an allocation of memory for the transfer from the storage array controller.

Abstract: A blockage is detected at a first link based on a delay and/or stoppage of transmission of a data message along the first link between first and second nodes of a plurality of nodes of a fabric. A snapshot message is sent along at least a second link between the first and second nodes in response to the blockage being detected. The second node may capture a fabric state at the second node in response to receiving the snapshot message, before a corrective action occurs.

Abstract: A method for submatch extraction may include receiving an input string, receiving a regular expression, and converting the regular expression with capturing groups into a plurality of finite automata to extract submatches. The method further includes using a first automaton to determine whether the input string is in a language described by the regular expression, and to process the input string, and using states of the first automaton in a second automaton to extract the submatches.

Abstract: A method generates input/output (IO) commands by plural different applications that execute on a host. The method prioritizes the applications by inserting different classifiers into the IO commands at a host bus adapter (HBA) located in the host. A storage device receives the IO commands and processes the IO commands according to priorities based on the classifiers for the applications.
