The rim defined as a first terminal edge connects an upper edge of the sidewall to a first upwardly extending surface, the first upwardly extending surface connects to a second upwardly extending surface, that extends laterally at an angle different from the first upwardly extending surface, the second upwardly extending surface connects to a first outwardly extending surface, the first outwardly extending surface connects to a first downwardly curved surface that further curves outwardly from the first outwardly extending surface, the first downwardly curved surface connects to a second outwardly extending surface, the second outwardly extending surface further connects to a second downwardly curved surface, and the second downwardly curved surface terminates to the rolled bead.

Abstract: In accordance with one embodiment of the invention, there is provided a disposable aluminum lid having a lid stamped from a bendable formed aluminum. The lid being defined to include a base defining a top section and a bottom section, where the base terminates at an inside edge to form a window through the base. A skirt extending downwardly from an outside edge of the base and extending continuously around the base to form a well there-between, the skirt further having a terminal lower edge. A transparent film material secured over the window on the bottom section of the base.
