Patents Assigned to Hiebert, Inc.
  • Patent number: 4269005
Abstract: Relatively flat, generally planar panels having a pair of generally parallel, spaced-apart slots extending along the lengths of the upper, lower and opposite side edges thereof are joined together by a pair of thin, strip-like standards disposed within the slots at the facing side edges of an adjacent pair of panels and top and bottom connectors having an opposite pair of spaced-apart, generally parallel edges disposed within the slots at the top and bottom edges and fastened to the top and bottom edges by screws or similar fasteners. The top edge of each panel may be covered by a top cap generally coextensive with the top edge and having a plurality of brackets secured to the underside of the cap so that the opposite, downwardly extending edges of the brackets are resiliently secured within the pair of slots in the top edge of the panel. Selected side edges of the panel can be coupled to an end cap of configuration similar to to the top cap or to a corner post via a pair of the standards.

  • Patent number: 4102470
Abstract: A drawer file folder stop for securing file folders or other objects in place in a drawer includes a plate configured to hook the stop over the top edge of the back or either side or an adjustable divider within the drawer. An elongated, generally planar holder is mounted on and extends outwardly from the plate across part but not all of the width of the drawer between the opposite sides or the length of the drawer between the front and back, and a pin mounted on the plate opposite the holder for engagement in a groove running along the inside surface of the side or back on which the plate is mounted. With the holder free of file folders or other objects the plate is free to slide along the side or back on which it is mounted so as to firmly position the holder against file folders or other objects to be secured within the drawer.

  • Patent number: 4067165
Abstract: A panel system includes thin, planar panels joined to each other at their edges and to corner posts by sleeve and dowel arrangements which provide proper alignment and by collar and pin arrangements which secure the panels to each other and to the corner posts so that a desired amount of force is required to separate the panels from each other and from the corner posts once the connection is made. Each sleeve and dowel arrangement includes a separate hollow sleeve mounted within each panel for receiving a common cylindrical dowel. Where a panel is joined to a corner post the dowel is permanently secured within the corner post. The sleeves of the topmost sleeve and dowel arrangement are of circular cross-section on the inside and slightly larger than the dowel so as to freely receive the dowel and yet align the joining panels in relatively precise fashion.
