    Abstract: A reinforcement structure for asphalt pavements comprising corrugated or zigzag bent perforated or open mesh strips disposed relative to each other so that when said strips are brought into contact with each other and fixed together at the apices the contacting strips define therebetween a plurality of cells or honeycomb-like structure. Further, there is provided a superior asphalt pavement when the above-described reinforcement structure is positioned and embedded within said pavement.
