Abstract: A curing composition for an epoxy resin compound useful for the chemical fastening of construction elements, an epoxy resin compound, and a multi-component epoxy resin system are provided. A method for the chemical fastening of construction elements in boreholes and a method of using a salt (S) as an accelerator in an epoxy resin compound for chemical fastening, the epoxy resin compound including a Mannich base and an amine which is reactive to epoxy groups.
Abstract: A tool for machining materials has a main part and one or more blades. The main part is made of a low-alloy steel. The socket is welded to the main part, and the blade edges are made of a hard metal. The hard metal contains at least 82 vol. % of tungsten carbide and a metallic binder made of a cobalt-nickel-based alloy. The hardness of the hard metal is greater than 1350 HV10. The socket has a sintered composite, and 40 vol. % to 60 vol. % of the composite is composed of a metal carbide and a metallic binder. At least 95 vol. % of the metallic binder is made of nickel, and the hardness of the composite is less than 800 HV10.

Abstract: An isolation block is useful for sealing a flute of a fluted metal deck and a movement joint between the metal deck and an adjacent wall configuration. The isolation block includes a flute sealing portion adapted to snugly fit into one of the flutes of the fluted metal deck, a joint sealing portion for sealing a movement joint, and a corrugation sealing portion for sealing a corrugation between adjacent fluted deck elements or in one of the fluted deck elements.

Abstract: Method for comparing a received beam (24) incident on a laser receiver (12) in a longitudinal arrangement with a rotating laser beam (22), which is moved by a rotating laser (11) in a horizontal position about an axis of rotation (21), wherein the laser receiver (12) comprises an evaluation unit and at least one detection field (25) having a longitudinal direction (28) and a transverse direction (29). The rotating laser (11) is arranged on a tripod (14) adjustable along an axis (15) and the horizontal laser plane that the rotating laser beam (22) produces is moved by the tripod (14) in a height direction (16) along the axis (15). In the longitudinal direction (28) of the detection field (25), the evaluation unit determines an adjustment direction of the received beam (24) relative to the laser receiver (12), and the evaluation unit compares the adjustment direction of the received beam (24) with the height direction (16) of the tripod (14).
