    Abstract: The present invention relates to a rearward viewing mirror device that enables a user, such as a hunter, a law enforcement officer, an inspector, etc. to extend the mirror device as desired and to rotate the mirror position relative to a shaft, as desired. The present invention device includes an elongated shaft, having a proximal end and a distal end for supporting a mirror holding mechanism for holding at least one mirror. The elongated shaft has a plurality of movable segments, preferably telescopic segments, connected to one another for extending and contracting movement relative to one another. Alternatively to telescopic movement, is a plurality of hinged segments connected to one another for jack-knife like foldability. There is at least one mirror and a mirror holding mechanism for retaining and supporting the mirror(s).
