Patent number: 11687517Abstract: A computer system stores a database model of an object based on a plurality of updates to the object. Each update indicates a bound status of the update, a transaction date of the update, an effective date of the update, and a value of an attribute in the update. The computer system forms a view model of the object based on the database model of the object by reconstructing values of the attributes of the object from the plurality of updates with immutable bound statuses.Type: GrantFiled: October 13, 2020Date of Patent: June 27, 2023Assignee: Hippo Analytics Inc.Inventor: Adrian Olainu

Patent number: 11500863Abstract: A computer system stores a database of multi-dimensional variables indicating field values of rate plan objects. The database stores rules related to each rate plan object. The computer system forms a primary catalog comprising all of the multi-dimensional variables from all rate plan objects from the database. The computer system receives a first user input indicating a first plurality of field entries. The computer system forms a secondary catalog that inherits all rate plan objects of the primary catalog. The computer system identifies, in the secondary catalog, first fields values that do not correspond to the first plurality of field entries based on the rules for the rate plan objects corresponding to the first plurality of field entries. The identified first fields values are removed from the secondary catalog. A second rate plan object is formed based on the secondary catalog.Type: GrantFiled: October 12, 2020Date of Patent: November 15, 2022Assignee: Hippo Analytics Inc.Inventors: Adrian Olainu, Aviad Pinkovesky

Patent number: 11295390Abstract: A technique for integrating documents and data into a policy management system issues an event trigger from a memory system upon receipt of documents and data related to an insurance policy. An SFTP system runs software for identifying documents and data required for the insurance policy and designating access rights to the same by users and vendors and for specifying actions to be performed upon receipt of the identified documents and data. The event trigger causes the SFTP system to perform the specified actions associated with the received document or data and to push the uploaded documents and/or the results from performance of the specified actions to the users and/or vendors having access rights to the uploaded documents and/or results. The insurance policy is represented in a JSON data structure that defines the document and data management policies and an order of process tasks required for the insurance policy.Type: GrantFiled: March 19, 2019Date of Patent: April 5, 2022Assignee: Hippo Analytics Inc.Inventors: Arie Yelovitch, Michael P. Patent number: 11138682Abstract: A technique for accessing multiple rate data from several sources and applying the rate data to pre-populated data of a survey is described. The techniques include backend processes and architectures that allow for the retrieval, modeling, and population of certain data fields during the customer evaluation process as during the process of requesting a quote for products or services. The process includes accessing static property information of a property from a first plurality of sources, computing a rate for the property based on the static property information, accessing dynamic property information of the property from a second plurality of sources, adjusting the rate for the property based on the dynamic property information, and generating a rate graphical user interface that indicates the adjusted rate for the property.Type: GrantFiled: March 7, 2019Date of Patent: October 5, 2021Assignee: Hippo Analytics Inc.Inventors: Arie Yelovitch, Eyal Navon, Ran Israel Halprin Limor

Patent number: 10943305Abstract: A policy issuance architecture processes cancellation requests for cancelling insurance policies maintained by the policy issuance architecture. The policy issuance architecture includes several multi-tiered data structures, wherein each multi-tiered data structure corresponds to a particular geographic region. The policy issuance architecture references a particular multi-tiered data structure based on the geographic region associated with an identified insurance policy. The policy issuance architecture uses the particular multi-tiered data structure to populate various selectable fields used to create a cancellation request for the identified insurance policy. After the values of the selectable fields have been selected and/or entered, the policy issuance architecture verifies the values to ensure that the cancellation request has been properly configured. Upon submission of the cancellation request, the policy issuance architecture associates the cancellation request with the identified insurance policy.Type: GrantFiled: June 24, 2019Date of Patent: March 9, 2021Assignee: Hippo Analytics Inc.Inventors: Adrian Mihai Olariu, Arie Yelovitch, Eyal Navon
