  • Patent number: 7235744
Abstract: A housing assembly for a printed circuit board is mounted on a vehicle body by pressing a collar nut or the head of a collar screw past a plurality of fingers of a housing assembly so that the fingers retain the nut or screw head in place. The module is then pressed against the vehicle body so that the collar nut or collar screw is lifted while the retainers are deflected outwardly and a tool is used to tighten the screw into a nut or the nut onto the shank of a screw to clamp the printed circuit board on the housing against the vehicle body.

  • Patent number: 7189919
Abstract: A housing for an electronic device in automotive technology has two molded-plastic housing parts fittable together to form a cavity and a membrane hinge unitarily formed with the parts and permitting relative pivoting of the parts between an open position and a closed position. The electronic device is secured in the cavity between the parts. Respective snap formations on the parts are fittable together only in the closed position in a condition of one of the parts bearing with prestress on the other part for securing the parts together against separation. One of the snap formations is elastically deformable transversely of an opening direction into and out of latching engagement with the other of the formations.

  • Patent number: 7084808
Abstract: The invention relates to an antenna system (1) comprising several antennae (2), which can be connected to at least two receivers (4, 4?) via a combination unit. According to the invention, a signal processing unit (5) for evaluating the output signals of the receivers (4, 4?) and a control unit (10) are provided, by means of which at least one of the antennae can be switched to transmit mode in order to conduct a self-test. These antennae (2) transmit test signals with a test frequency that is pre-set by a first receiver (4). Said test signals are fed into at least one other antenna (2) that, via the combination device (3), is connected to the second receiver (4?) whose frequency is tuned to the test frequency. In order to conduct the self-test, the receiving levels of the second receiver (4?) are recorded as actual values and compared with predetermined set values. This results in the realization of an antenna system in which a function check is conducted with the least possible amount of complexity.
