Patents Assigned to Hirshmann Car Communication GmbH
  • Patent number: 11784736
Abstract: A digital broadcast receiver includes a first receiving module tunable to a foreground broadcast service to extract a program information, a first decoder module coupled to the first receiving module and decoding the program information, an output module switchably coupled to the first decoder module and adapted to output the program information, at least one second decoder module coupled to the first receiving module and tunable to a background broadcast service to decode a program information associated with the background broadcast service, and a control unit adapted to tune the first receiving module and the first decoder module to the foreground broadcast service and to tune each of the at least one second decoder modules to a background broadcast service. The control unit determines the foreground broadcast service based on a user input and determines the background broadcast services based on the foreground broadcast service and a predefined rule.

  • Publication number: 20210057807
Abstract: A roof antenna including an antenna base with a base plate, a spindle, a driver arranged on the spindle, and a locking element having a first limb and a second limb. The first limb has a first latching hook and the second limb has a second latching hook. The first limb and the second limb extend through an aperture in the base plate. A translatory movement of the driver on the spindle is transferred into a displacement of the locking element in a displacement direction perpendicular to the base plate.

  • Patent number: 10797813
Abstract: A method of operating a mobile receiving system includes the steps of registering and storing, in a first cycle, a plurality of receivable transmitters in a first specifiable frequency range with a first receiving method, and establishing a number of the receivable transmitters from the first cycle. The method further includes the steps of registering and storing, in a second cycle, a plurality of receivable transmitters in the first specifiable frequency range with the first receiving method, and establishing a number of the receivable transmitters from the second cycle. The number of receivable transmitters from the first cycle are compared with the number of receivable transmitters from the second cycle and, when the numbers of receivable transmitters in the first cycle and the second cycle deviate from one another by a first specifiable value, the first receiving method is switched to a second receiving method.
