In general, a user is provided with a side menu allowing for navigation, selection, additional content, display, and search options that enable one or more functions associated with the intelligent television. The presentation of options is based on input received by the intelligent television. As a user provides input to the intelligent television via a remote control or other input device. The intelligent television is configured to interpret the input and provide interactive functionality in the form of content presented to the display of the intelligent television without obstructing the user from viewing content displayed on the screen of the intelligent television.

The comparator compares an input signal and the voltage waveform signal to output a first pulse-width-modulated signal. When the processor receives a second request to display a second portion of the online document before complete downloading the first plurality of elements including a second plurality of elements, the processor may stop downloading remainder of the first plurality of elements that has not been downloaded and start to download the second plurality of elements.

In one embodiment, a method includes detecting one or more interface commands for navigating the graphical user interface and one or more content titles associated with an index table, analyzing the one or more interface commands for navigating the graphical user interface and the one or more content titles associated with the index table, and updating presentation of the graphical user interface based on the analyzing, wherein the graphical user interface is updated to display graphical elements based on a subset of the content titles associated with the index table and wherein navigation of the graphical user interface is modified to provide increased navigational speed for the graphical user interface. The method may also include receiving a selection for an index table and updating the graphical user interface based on the selection.

The method also includes presenting an overlay element based on the configuring, wherein the overlay element is presented by the display device as an overlay to displayed image content. Overlay elements can include a navigation bar, an animation, a poster display, sticker display, and an application home screen.

Abstract: A system, method, and computer instructions is provided to render an on screen channel changer on a television. A request is received from a user to activate the on screen channel changer. An on screen channel changer for an Intelligent TV may include a display of a number bar, miniature (mini) electronic program guide (EPG), a dynamic EPG, and a program preview. The EPG information comes from EPG information sources including EPG information embedded in a content feed from a cable provider and EPG information from an internet source. The EPG information displayed can include a schedule of past, current, and upcoming TV programs. The on screen channel changer may be displayed on top of a TV program currently being viewed. The user changes the channel by making a channel number selection using the on screen channel changer.

In the disclosure, before applying a drive pulse signal corresponding to a rotary pulse number to a motor of the electronic expansion valve, a secondary positioning is performed on a relative position between stator magnetic field of the motor and rotor magnetic field of the motor by applying a holding current of a first duration time to the motor, applying an pulse signal of an additional pulse number to the motor, and applying a holding current of a second duration time to the motor, and a same secondary positioning operation is also performed on the motor after applying the drive pulse signal corresponding to the rotary pulse number to the motor of the electronic expansion valve, which ensures that the electronic expansion valve operates according to the drive pulse signal corresponding to the rotary pulse number.
