  • Patent number: 12157463
Abstract: A vehicle control device causes an automatic brake to function even for an obstacle suddenly appearing from outside a sensor detection range in a place estimated to be dangerous such as an intersection. A vehicle control device calculates time-to-collision TTC based on a detection result of an obstacle sensor, and controls a brake, which is an actuator of a vehicle, based on the calculated time-to-collision TTC. The vehicle control device includes a determination unit that determines right turn or left turn of the vehicle, and a command unit that sends a command according to a determination result of the determination unit to the brake. When determining that the vehicle is turning right or left, the determination unit changes the time-to-collision TTC to a longer value by extending more than that at the time of traveling straight.

  • Publication number: 20240384677
Abstract: Provided is a valve body that changes a communication state of a flow path through which liquid flows, the valve body comprising a valve main body formed of synthetic resin and comprising inside a press-fit fixing cylinder made of metal, and a drive shaft that is press-fitted in and fixed to the press-fit fixing cylinder of the valve main body. A non-press-fit portion comprising a space in a predetermined shape is formed in either one of the press-fit fixing cylinder and the drive shaft or both the press-fit fixing cylinder and the drive shaft. If the press-fit fixing cylinder is deformed to be expanded due to the press-fitting of the drive shaft, the deformation can be absorbed by the non-press-fit portion. This makes it possible to restrain a split or crack from being generated in the synthetic resin that forms the valve main body which is located around the press-fit fixing cylinder in which the drive shaft is press-fitted.

Abstract: In a rack bar and a steering device using the same, an endmost tooth bottom for reducing a stress exerted on a first forging die during die forging of a rack tooth molding part is formed on the endmost side of a plurality of tooth bottoms. Specifically, the endmost tooth bottom is formed so that a depth thereof is less than a depth of an ordinary tooth bottom by a difference. This reduces an amount of flow of a material of the rack bar during formation of the endmost tooth bottom by an amount commensurate with the difference. As a result, the stress exerted on the first forging die can be reduced, and occurrence of heat checking in the first forging die can be suppressed.
