Abstract: A detection method of an illegal access to a computer system includes a step a) of collating user identification information inputted from an input unit in one or more log-in operations with user authentication information registered in the computer system, a step b) of detecting the number of times that the identification information is not coincident with the authentication information in a series of log-in operations within a predetermined term, a step c) of obtaining final log-in information indicating whether the identification information is coincident with the authentication information or not in a final log-in operation, and a step d) of comparing the number of times in respect to the incoincidence and the final log-in information with a predetermined judgment standard to thereby detect the presence of the illegal access.

Abstract: When a computer as a logical connection destination which detected a search objective user issues a search request to first one of computers which established logical connections associated with the search objective user, the first computer selects users who used a searched computer in a use time of the search objective user, and executes the search request over the computers which established the logical connections associated with the selected users. The same search request is sequentially carried out over m candidates of the logical connection originator computer of the searched computer down to an m-th computer. Search results (a computer identifier of the searched computer and user identifiers of the selected users) obtained by the m computers are collected in the respective computers and returned to the logical connection destination computer in an order opposite to the search request order.

Abstract: Information obtained through a network and information distributed from a package medium are mixedly displayed. A package medium 3 has a URL (Universal Resource Locator) and information for converting a directory structure in the package medium. A terminal has information for managing correspondence between data of a received electronic mail 6 and a URL of the data. The URL is used for designating data. When the designated URL exists in the terminal, data is read from the terminal. When the designated URL exists in the package medium, data is read from the package medium. The read data is mixedly displayed on one screen.

Abstract: In a change-over control method for a parallel processor system including a current processor group having a plurality of processors and a network connecting the processors to each other and a standby processor group configured in the same way as for the current processor group, a processor control section is disposed in the parallel processor system, and a monitor processor is arranged for each of the current and standby processor groups. A faulty processor ratio determined according to the amount of job processing is set to the processor control section. On receiving a report notifying occurrence of a failure in a processor from the monitor processor disposed in the current processor group, the processor control section determines a ratio of failed processors in the current processor group.

Abstract: A storage control system for a print image data in a print control apparatus includes a unit for generating a print image expressed by a set of a plurality of dots as a digital data having a dot carrying a two-dimensional address corresponding to a bit, an address conversion unit for converting a digital data carrying a two-dimensional address into a digital data carrying a one-dimensional address, and a full-dot memory for storing a digital data carrying a one-dimensional address in a one-dimensional address structure.
