Abstract: A method for radio resource control is carried out in a radio communications system including multiple base stations. In this method, a radio resource that can be used by the base stations is divided into multiple first radio resources on the frequency axis. Then one or more of the first radio resources are allocated to a second radio resource for initially transmitting a packet and the other first radio resources are allocated to a third radio resource for retransmitting the packet.

  • Patent number: 7801860
Abstract: In a system that switches multiple database servers to separate computers, a switching order of the database servers is variably changed and set. In the system that allows an executive system computer and a standby system computer having the database servers to share a database respectively, the system is switched from the database server of the executive system computer to the database server of the standby system computer. Information (order information) that indicates an order in which the system of the executive system database server is switched is registered in a storage device. The order information is changed by detection of the occurrence of an event in the executive system computer. The system switching processing is performed from the executive system database server to the standby system database server in accordance with the changed order information.

  • Patent number: 7800358
Abstract: After the periphery of the magnetic sensitive element is surrounded by an elastic member, the magnetic sensitive element is mold-formed with resin material. Soft epoxy or gel resin is employed as the elastic member, poured in an element-mounting space and solidified. The magnetic sensitive element is surrounded by silicone rubber. Such construction allows the magnetic sensitive element not to be affected by vibration and allows the elastic member to absorb the stress which is created due to the thermal deformation of the molded resin.

  • Patent number: 7797812
Abstract: A method of manufacturing a disc brake in which a pair of pads are disposed on opposite sides of a disc. A caliper body extends over the disc. The method includes forming, in the caliper body, a prepared hole for a bore into which a piston is slidably fitted and a recess extending from a bottom portion of the prepared hole outwardly in a radial direction of the prepared hole. The bore and recess are formed by means of a core during casting. A linear passage opening is formed by cutting from an exterior surface of the caliper body so as to communicate with the recess. Thus, an opening for forming a brake fluid passage can be easily formed by machining, and the position of the opening can be determined with a high degree of freedom.
