  • Patent number: 7432897
Abstract: A liquid crystal display device for displaying video data having a detection circuit for detecting a luminance distribution based on video data which is inputted, the luminance distribution being indicative of generation frequency of gradations in each of divided region which includes a plurality of gradations. The display device includes a determination circuit for determining at least one of a plurality of divided regions of higher generation frequency of gradation than that of other divided regions based on the luminance distribution, a correction circuit for correcting the video data so as to make a luminance characteristic of the at least one of the plurality of divided regions of higher generation frequency of gradation more abrupt than a luminance characteristic of the other divided regions, and a liquid crystal display panel for displaying the corrected video data. A width of the divided region is changeable.

  • Patent number: 6850214
Abstract: A luminance characteristic of inputted video data is determined by input video image characteristic detection sections, and polygonal line point master data and polygonal line point correction data are calculated based on the luminance characteristic so as to provide a satisfactory display state using a microcomputer and are outputted to the polygonal line generation sections. The polygonal line point data determining the output gradation characteristic is calculated in polygonal point generation sections and outputted to inter-point gradation operation sections, and operation processing is conducted by using the polygonal point data and the inputted video data in the inter-point operation sections to determine the inter-point gradation and outputted to a display panel.

  • Patent number: 6504619
Abstract: In a print control apparatus, even when an error such as a paper jam or the like which needs the reprint occurs in a printer, in order to perform an error recovery to generate the accurate reprint result, for preparation of the error recovery, a command buffer preserving section to preserve commands and drawing attribute parameters of each page head (or a command file preserving section or a page buffer preserving section to preserve a drawing dot image) and a preservation command buffer use redrawing/reprint preparing section to perform the error recovery by using the preserved contents (or a preservation command file use redrawing/reprint preparing section or a preservation page buffer reprinting section) are provided in the print control apparatus. When the error which needs the reprint occurs, even for a command of the type such that the drawing attribute parameters are handed over between pages, the accurate reprint is executed by using the preserved contents.

  • Patent number: 5608858
Abstract: Disclosed herein is a system integrally comprising a CAD system and an electronic filing system. When vector data such as figures and their names are converted to image (raster) data for storage, the system automatically extracts, from the vector data coming from the CAD system, those data that correspond to predetermined character attributes, maximum numeric attributes, primitives of each figure and the topology thereof. The data are set as key-words and are made to correspond to the image data for registration and storage into the electronic filing system. In searching for desired image data, the corresponding key-words are input for data retrieval and output.

  • Patent number: 4990907
Abstract: A bus master and a plurality of bus slaves are connected through a data bus and a control bus, and data transfer of hand shake system is performed. In the control bus, at least data strobe signal from the bus master to the bus slave and data confirmation signal from the bus slave to the bus master are transmitted. The data strobe signal from the bus master is one inputted to a bus strobe control circuit. The data confirmation signal from the bus slave is also inputted to the bus strobe control circuit, and the control circuit supervises level of the data confirmation signal being asserted and confirms negation, and then asserts the data strobe signal to the bus slave. Thereafter, a next data transfer is started.
