  • Publication number: 20170046673
Abstract: An automatic transaction device includes a first device mounted internally and a control unit that controls devices send and receive data between the first device and the control unit. The first device executes processing that generates a first code relating to the first device and sends same to the control unit and executes processing that verifies a second code received from the control unit and generates an encryption key in accordance with the verification results. The control unit executes: processing whereby, after the first code has been received, verification is made that the operation environment is within the automatic transaction device; and processing whereby, if a determination is made that the operation environment is within the automatic transaction device, a second code is generated and sent to the first device.

  • Patent number: 8126296
Abstract: In order to prevent interception of the information through the leakage electromagnetic waves when transmitting the information using an image display unit, an image converter generates plural converted images, stores the generated converted images in an image storage, an image output unit reads out the converted images from the image storage and transmits the converted images to a screen control unit successively. The screen control unit displays a reception image on an image display unit. The image output unit outputs the converted image group at a high speed, thereby performing a switching display on the image display unit, and to show an image visually equivalent to the input image.

  • Patent number: 7612558
Abstract: The sensor portion of the bill discrimination device has a variable inductance portion whose inductance changes depending on thickness of the bill and the magnetic ink amount, and an output signal generator for generating an output signal depending on the inductance of the variable inductance portion. The variable inductance portion includes a contact member which may have magnetostrictive behavior, and a coil portion disposed about the perimeter thereof. The contact member is positioned so as to be subjected to pressing force of a spring via an auxiliary roller. When the pressing force received from the spring changes depending on the thickness of a currency bill, the magnetic permeability of the contact member will change and the inductance of the variable inductance portion will change. At the same time, the inductance of the variable inductance portion will also change depending on the magnetic charge of the currency bill.
