  • Patent number: 9834806
Abstract: A disposable microbe-collecting carrier cartridge and a carrier treating apparatus which efficiently convert microbes collected on a carrier into a solution and prevent variations in the amount of retrieval of microbes upon concentration on a filter are provided. A cartridge formed of an upper lid having a plurality of through holes, a container in an inverted-cone shape having both of a liquid storage sink unit having a filter at the bottom and an air suction path, and a support base for setting up a thermoplastic carrier, and a carrier treating apparatus formed of a dispensing nozzle for liquid supply, a liquid supply mechanism, a liquid heating mechanism, and a suction pump for filtration are prepared. Warm water is supplied onto the filter set up on a bottom surface of the inverted-cone-shaped. The contact with the warm water causes the carrier to be solated filtered through the filter.

  • Publication number: 20160348146
Abstract: A microorganism measuring system set control reference values with higher accuracy than ever. Based on results of repeated CFU countings and results of repeated ATP measurements, a microorganism measuring system obtains a probability density function of ATP measured values in a normal condition; determines an alert reference value at which a desired probability of false positives is equal to or less than a probability, and an action reference value at which a desired probability of false negatives is equal to or less than a probability; and thereby controls the ATP measured values. For this reason, the microorganism measuring system can set the control reference values with higher accuracy than ever, without being influenced by an error in the conversion of ATP contents into CFU counts.

  • Patent number: 9476808
Abstract: An object of the present invention is to provide an object-capturing device which accurately detects objects such as microorganisms captured at a test site. The object-capturing device of the present invention includes a capturing dish holding a carrier, which captures objects (microorganisms), on a first side of the capturing dish. The capturing dish has a through hole extending from the first side to a second side of the capturing dish. The object-capturing device is used in a way such that, after the objects are captured with the carrier directed upward, the carrier is directed downward and reagents for detecting the objects are contacted with the objects captured on the carrier through the through hole.
