Abstract: Septuplicate concentric semi circles are defined (S103). An intersection pk of kth straight line and kth circle is calculated (step S107). A point p (k?1) and a point are connected with a line segment (S109). In this case, a point p0 and a p1 are connected with a line segment because K=1. It is judged whether the processing number k is the final (S111). If is not the final, the processing number k is incremented (S113), and repeats the processing after Step S107. Time-series data can be displayed so as to clearly distinguish variations without varying the angle(s).

Abstract: A computer system comprising a plurality of first computers each operated by an operator and a second computer coupled via a network to the plurality of first computers. Each of the plurality of first computers executes at least one software, obtains operation information by the operator with respect to the at least one software to be executed, receives an input of information from the operator, displays a confirm window for the operator to check whether the received input information is correct or not, calculates operation time period about the displayed confirm window based on the obtained operation information; and sends the calculated operation time period about the confirm window to the second computer. The second computer receives the operation time period about the confirm window, and calculates the number of operations of which the received operation time period about the confirm window is shorter than a first threshold value.

Abstract: The mapping data include a substituting element describing area, a repeat number describing area, and a repeat element describing area. In the substituting element describing area, it is described that the input data is set to which tag in the XML file. In the repeat number describing area, the repeat number specified in the repeat number specifying area is described. In the repeat element describing area, it is described that the tag name of the tag output repeatedly in the XML file. The hierarchy structure data generating system outputs the repeat tag to belong to the same rank as the tag of the repeat element describing area. On putting out the repeat tag, the hierarchy structure data generating system outputs it repeatedly the same number of times as the number of the value of the repeat number describing area.

Abstract: Disclosed are a document retrieval method and system for separately performing a process for correcting erroneously recognized characters existing in characteristic character strings within a seed document or the documents to be registered and a process for tolerating erroneously recognized characters existing in the documents targeted for retrieval. The process for correcting erroneously recognized characters existing in characteristic character strings extracts characteristic character strings from a read document, replaces the extracted characteristic character strings containing erroneously recognized characters with character strings appropriate for document retrieval, and selects characteristic character strings for use in actual document retrieval.

Abstract: An apparatus for expanding a character string. The character string that is entered to search includes a character string dividing device to divide the entered character string into partial character strings. A referencing device is provided to reference a similarity table. The similarity table stores in advance similar partial character strings, each of the similar partial character strings being derived from each of the partial character strings by changing at least one of the characters of each string to a different character which is similar in shape. An expansion device is provided to combine similar partial character strings into expanded words and store them in table.
