Abstract: Discovery of devices in a network of devices comprises assigning resources for the discovery, and providing accordingly at least two discovery patterns of transmission and reception phases for the devices in the network for communication of information between the devices. A device can transmit or receive information in accordance with a dedicated discovery pattern of transmission and reception phases allocated from a set of different discovery patterns.
Abstract: A portable electronic device includes first and second parts, each having a front face, a back face, two sides, and two ends. A movable attachment attaches said first and second parts to each other with the front face of the second part against the back face of said first part. It allows a relative sliding movement between said first and second parts to a position in which an exposable portion of the front face of the second part along one of said sides of the second part becomes visible from beneath the corresponding side of the first part. A camera in said second part is located in a center region of said exposable portion between the two ends of the second part, with its viewing direction directed out of said front face of the second part.
Abstract: A wireless charging circuit for using a transmitting wireless device to charge a receiving wireless device is disclosed. The wireless charging circuit of the transmitting wireless device has a transmitting mode. The transmitting wireless device includes a wireless charging circuit and a position detector, the position detector electronically coupled to the wireless charging circuit and for activating the transmitting mode of the wireless charging circuit of the transmitting wireless device dependent upon the position of the transmitting wireless device (e.g., upside down). When a receiving wireless device is placed face up on an upside down transmitting wireless device that is in the transmitting mode with the transmitting mode activated, the transmitting wireless device automatically begins charging the battery of the receiving wireless device. A method of wireless charging of a wireless device and including a battery power conserving backoff feature is also disclosed.
Abstract: The present invention provides a method, respective apparatuses, system and computer program product for obtaining channel state information in a coordinated multi¬point transmission/reception communication network. The method comprises allocating a first sounding resource to at least one of a plurality of user equipment in a coordinated multi-point transmission/reception communication network for transmitting sounding reference signal to a base station of a serving cell, and allocating a second sounding resource to the at least one user equipment for transmitting sounding reference signal to a base station of an interfering cell, wherein the first and the second sounding resource are different from each other.
