Abstract: A chair includes a back portion configured to engage a back of an occupant of the chair. The chair includes a frame and a conformable panel coupled to the frame. The conformable panel is configured to engage the back of the occupant of the chair, and the conformable panel includes a lumbar portion. A lumbar support mechanism is coupled to the frame. The lumbar support mechanism includes a base coupled to the frame and a lever pivotably coupled to the base. The lever comprises a shaft and a cam coupled to and being pivotable with the shaft relative to the base. A panel support translatably is coupled to the base and engaged with the cam. The lever is pivotable relative to the base to cause the cam to translate the panel support relative to the base and apply a force to the lumbar portion of the conformable panel.

Abstract: A wall panel for a workspace system includes a monolithic wall portion and a cover carried by the monolithic wall portion. The monolithic wall portion includes a first surface, an aperture including a wall opening formed on the first surface, and a second surface opposite the first surface. The cover includes a channel adjacent to the first surface, and the channel and the aperture together define an internal chamber. The cover further includes a cover opening coupled to the channel. The wall panel further includes an electrical assembly carried in the internal chamber. The electrical assembly includes a receptacle that is accessible via the cover opening.

Abstract: A fireplace and method of manufacturing a fireplace. Embodiments of the fireplace comprise a combustion chamber, a front opening allowing viewing within the combustion chamber, and a back wall opposite the front opening. The back wall can be controllably switched between an opaque state and a transparent state. A combustion region between the front opening and the back wall is adapted to provide a flame. A controller coupled to the back wall enables a user to switch the back wall between the opaque and transparent states. In embodiments the back wall comprises a glass panel and switchable film on the glass panel. The controller is coupled to the switchable film.
