  • Patent number: 9939027
Abstract: A switching device for a motor vehicle transmission includes a coupling component, several transmission shafts which each are rotatable about a transmission axis, a frictional contact ring including a friction cone and being substantially non-rotatably and axially shiftably connected with a transmission shaft, a form-fit ring including a cone surface and being substantially non-rotatably and axially shiftably connected with the coupling component, as well as an actuating body including a cone surface and being substantially non-rotatably and axially shiftably connected with the coupling component. The friction cone of the frictional contact ring extends between the cone surface of the form-fit ring and the cone surface of the actuating body.

  • Patent number: 9909627
Abstract: A synchronizer ring (10) for synchronized manual transmissions is manufactured by forming or reshaping a flat material of metal, wherein a conical friction surface (20) is produced, into which axial grooves (24) are incorporated by chipless machining, wherein a tool is axially shifted relative to the friction surface (20) to produce the final friction surface (20). At least the friction surface (20) is vibration-ground and subsequently hardened.

  • Patent number: 9909628
Abstract: A transmitter for a synchronizing assembly of a manual transmission has a transmitter disk and at least one clutch disk which is arranged on a side surface of the transmitter disk. The clutch disk and the transmitter disk are fixedly connected together by local welding points. A method for producing a transmitter for a synchronizing assembly of a manual transmission consists of providing a clutch disk and a transmitter disk. Then, the clutch disk and the transmitter disk are fastened together by means of projection welding. Finally, the thus formed assembly is hardened.

  • Patent number: 9797458
Abstract: A shifting device for a motor vehicle transmission includes several transmission shafts which each are rotatable about a transmission axis, a synchronizer ring which is firmly connected with a transmission shaft, a first disk carrier, a plurality of first disks which are non-rotatably and axially shiftably connected with the first disk carrier, a second disk carrier which is axially shiftable relative to the first disk carrier and in circumferential direction can be coupled with the synchronizer ring both frictionally and positively, a plurality of second disks which are non-rotatably and axially shiftably connected with the second disk carrier and form a multidisk clutch with the first disks, and an actuating body for axially pressurizing the second disk carrier, wherein the actuating body and the second disk carrier are rotatable relative to each other in circumferential direction and substantially are firmly connected with each other in axial direction.

  • Patent number: 9605717
Abstract: A synchronizer ring for a synchronization unit of a manual transmission has a ring axis and is formed of a ring-shaped sheet-metal cone with a substantially constant sheet thickness. The ring-shaped sheet-metal cone has a cone-shaped radial outer side and an opposite radial inner side with a cone-shaped friction surface, wherein on its radial outer side the sheet-metal cone includes an integrally molded centering collar for radially centering the synchronizer ring relative to a synchronizer hub of the synchronization unit. The sheet-metal cone is deformed in the region of the centering collar and includes a first sheet portion with a residual thickness reduced as compared to the sheet thickness and axially adjacent a second sheet portion with a collar thickness which at least corresponds to the sheet thickness. The residual thickness of the sheet-metal cone is substantially constant in the first sheet portion.
